Day #293

Today I tackled a huge job and wrote an answer to my friend who sent a 30 page letter...we have written long letters to each other for years; hers was 30 pages hand written on 5x7 note paper; mine was 9 pages typewritten on 8-1/2x10 paper.  I'm not sure who had the longer letter!

I also sent off a letter to my mother's doctor and a Postcrossing card.

Nice incoming too.  Two postcards with poems on them, for a SwapBot exchange, a Postcrossing card from St. Petersburg (the writer's very first Postcrossing card) letters from two of my favorite writers, and some great stuff from Missive Maven's etsy shop.

All post cards going out today, including three from a set of Titanic cards, looking forward to the upcoming 100th anniversary.

Incoming from Donna and Shelley (who included some fun stationery for me to use), and a postcard from Slovenia

Day #192

Had a busy Sunday, getting things ready to mail out on Monday.

Notice that, thanks to The Wizard of Oz, I seem to have a Halloween theme here, with a couple of letters and a post card. I think this is 2 post-crossing cards and the rest are either unsolicited letters or responses to mail.

Day #191

Outgoing today was a post-crossing card, and a pen pal letter to Heidi in Norway.

Incoming in the Penpal vein was only one letter, from Annette in Germany, but I loved the envelopes from Missive Maven (who sent the stamps I ordered between two of her great postcards), and from LaPapierre, from whom I ordered some labels.

This was on LaPappiere's envelope

Day #94

Monday's outgoing

I added these to the batch I did on Sunday. They are a small gift for my cousin, a package for my son's new baby (due in September), a Swap-Bot package for a Dog/Puppy exchange, a Swap-bot postcard to Brasil, a letter to one of the Compassion kids, a response to someone who stumbled across this page and wrote to me, and a pen pal letter. Quite a variety this time!

...and Incoming...

2 Post-crossing postcards, the great hand made card from Linda at IUOMA, and two wonderful postcard orders from the Missive Maven
