Today postcards went out to: Poland, Finland, The Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, Germany and the USA.
No incoming mail.

Received a nice letter from Sandra in the Netherlands and two post-crossing cards, one from Belarus and my first one from Latvia.
The afternoon brought a letter from Basingstoke in England and a letter from a new person who stumbled across this blog. A good letter day!
The mail carrier brought a postcard from Malaysia from a post-crossing person, but it's not a post-crossing card, if that makes sense. Also a nice letter from one of my good pen pals.
I also sent a letter to a friend.
On the upper right is a postcard I received from Poland, but it does not appear to be post-crossing, just somebody who found my address...somewhere...and decided to write. The other two are pen pal letters from a couple of my favorite correspondents.
And incoming was a post-crossing card from the Netherlands.
I am hoping that the three people who wrote me the letters below are looking at this picture. If you are, please let me know. I have torn the house apart and I cannot find any of these letters. The fact that I can't find them tells me that after I took this picture, I put them somewhere and I am continuing to look, but right now I can't tell them. I remember that the middle one with the circles on it was from Lucas, for Send a letter day. One of the other letters came from Courtney in Australia and I don't remember who sent the third one. Please, please leave a note here, or write to me at basykes@dcn.org and let me know that you are aware that I have lost your letters and remind me that you sent them. I feel absolutely terrible about this!
I almost thought that my pen pal letter to Tennessee wouldn't go out because my printer wouldn't print...but fortunately I got it printing again. Also sent Post-crossing cards to the UK, China and Germany.
Received a post-crossing card from Germany and this nice letter from Anna in Washington.
Nice card from Albert in France and a letter from Kristina--I loved the envelope she made out of a bag from Chipotle!

I love the cute little puppy in the postcard from the Netherlands--I was her very first post-crossing card. Also was very happy to receive a letter from Elvis-fan, Denise in North Carolina!

Of course there was no mail delivery in the US because today is the New Year holiday. I spent all day long figuring stuff out on my new Droid x2 phone, so in lieu of showing you incoming mail, I leave you with this video of our 3-1/2 yr old granddaughter's reaction on seeing the puppet stage that her grandpa and Uncle Ned made for her. Militantly adorable.
